BOBBY VILLARREAL is a Los Angeles-based composer, music producer, and songwriter for film & television. He is known for crafting fierce melodies and sonic landscapes with attitude & soul. He currently writes additional music on the Netflix animated series GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE and the Nickelodeon series BLUES CLUES & YOU.

Born in Houston, Texas, Bobby was drawn to the sounds of gospel piano at age five and electric guitar at age twelve. He graduated in 2013 from Berklee College of Music and began his musical quest in Los Angeles, California by apprenticing with several of his favorite in demand composers and music producers. His credits on big box office films include score supervising Focus Feature’s LONDON HAS FALLEN and programming music for New Line Cinema’s action comedy reboot SHAFT. His music can be heard on Apple TV+, Netflix, Nickelodeon, NBC, The CW, The History Channel, and AMC.

Bobby’s most recent solo credits include the Apple TV+ feature thriller NOISE IN THE MIDDLE starring Tara Buck, the Amazon feature thriller UNTHINKABLE starring Vivica A. Fox, the documentary COWBOYS WITHOUT BORDERS and the sci-fi short SKY FIGHTER starring Erik Palladino. 

In addition to scoring to picture, Bobby has produced songs for artists Post Malone, Sirah, and 24hrs among others.
